{weddings} Lauren & Kenny

Amazing! I had such a great time at Lauren and Kenny’s wedding! I knew after doing their engagement session we were going to have even more fun for the wedding.  You two-omg- so sweet and kind! I loved everyone’s sense of humor and laid back attitude. I love you guys so much I was willing to lay in the road while cars zoomed by my head. Haha. Well,I wasn’t  really sacrificing my life, but I think most of my clients know by now that I don’t mind laying on the ground, teetering on a concrete ball (story for another day), or even laying on the road. I laughed so much yesterday and that’s the most I can really ever ask for. I just loved the little ways these two showed their love for each other. Catching them in moments where they were just canoodling or holding hands just made me so happy. It’s incredible that basically all my couples have found their lobster. Sigh.

I hope you two have a great time in England! Don’t forget to try the kraft cheese in a tin can- trust me, you won’t be disappointed! (Okay, so you probably will be , but it’s cheese. In a caaaan!)

Lauren Mason - Tina! A mere blog comment cannot express how much I absolutely adore all these pictures! They are absolutely perfect! I am so incredibly happy you were my photographer!!! You are a total rock star! I can't wait to see more!!! And yes, we will try cheese in a can, just for you! Thanks again!!

Odalys - Tina Bass!!! Lady- you will not quit! This wedding is so awesome! Love this couple and they're style- I die. Favorites : bride in the mirror (love that composition), the ceremony pictures (ya'll look soo happy!), groom in the shopping cart (excellent placement of your logo), all the solo shots of the groom (the style is just ahmazing!), the last two. What a stylin' couple! Congrats! And Tina Bass, you never fail to impress.

Elicia - Wow these are amazing!! What a beautiful wedding.

Rhonda - When Lauren said she had a photographer that she just HAD to use, I thought,"Oh, okay, but no big deal. Wedding photos are wedding photos." Well, I was wrong!! These are the most unique wedding photos I have ever seen!! I am so glad that Lauren picked you to capture her day! I LOVE THESE PICTURES!!

{weddings} posin’ at the photobooth

So, it took me forever to finally get these photo booth pics up on my blog, but so worth the wait. As I was going through the pictures I couldn’t help myself and cracked up at some of the poses. Jimmy manned the booth and I will have to say that he kept on bugging me when I was going to post these here. I think he’s a little more than proud of himself for doing the booth all by himself ;) But, I have to had it to him-he did great! The backdrop and props were all Laurie & Ethan’s doing. How cute are the mustaches on sticks?? I have one in my office right now and bring it out when I talk to my dog in between edits. What?? That’s so not crazy. What are you talking about? So…here are some of my favorite images. The winning image of the “bring out your crazy” contest is at the end. It was just so unexpected and made me spit out my tea when I saw it. Yup, just another day in the office.

I’ll photo bomb your photo booth like a… Haha, Love this photo!

Elicia - These are great!! Especially love the raccoon!

{love} Elicia & Greg

First time shooting in downtown Tampa and I loved it! I feel like there were so many different elements to this shoot and it just makes me want to squish every single image to my heart. Of course, Elicia and Greg totally make these images even more special and awesome. Elicia booked me over the phone since she resides in Kentucky currently and it always makes me nervous when I book people without meeting them first. It’s not the couple, it’s totally me and my anxieties about me, I guess. I mean, I hope all my clients like me! Haha. It’s like being the nerdy kid and hoping the first day of freshman year goes okay and you make at least one friend. I don’t think that feeling will ever go away for me. As soon as I met up with the two on saturday, I knew they were absolutely amazing and fun! They are so adorable! I had a great time just talking about every day things, goofing off, and talking about our dogs. I always have an extra soft spot for dog owners and extra points for owners of dogs that bear a resemblance to my own little Pebbles :)

So, yeah, not only did I leave my lens cap in a bookstore and went back to get it like a doofus, I also accidently left my extra flash on the ground. I realized immediately, of course, but…BAH! I am still the reigning Mr.Magoo photographer. Also, I was so bummed that it was such an overcast day (happy the rain went away before the shoot, though…huzzah!) But, then it was like zeus parted the clouds and for 10 minutes I had the most amazing golden light to work with. Thank you Greg for taking us to that one weirdo place with grass to take impromptu pictures. Thank you powers that be for bringing out the sun!

Elicia - Tina it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. We had a blast taking these photos and I am sooo glad you are our photographer! Your work is fabulous!! Can't wait to see the rest!

Michelle Guzman - Tina, these are beautiful. I really love the ones where they are by the bamboo (?) trees. Love those!

Odalys - You are killing me Tina Bass! Better and better, every time.

Rachel - SO awesome!! I get more and more excited for our wedding everytime you post on your blog! You are the BEST! Everything is so unique :)

Alison - Tina- These are amazing! Your work keeps growing and getting better and better!! :)

Tina - Aw, thank you all so much!! Elicia-You and Greg are such a sweet couple! So happy you found me and I can't wait to shoot your wedding! Michelle- Yeah! They are bamboo trees! It's this weird patch by the University of Tampa. Odalys, Rachel, Alison-You are too kind! But, please, do go on! Haha.

{around here} tricked out office

OooooOOOoooo. I finally get to post a few pictures of my *new* office! There is still some stuff I need to do, so it’s not perfect, but here are a few images. I am so excited! Feel free to come on over, hang out, chat about your wedding, and eat cookies!

Christine - Tina, your office looks absolutely lovely! If you weren't already an amazing photographer, I'd suggest you get into interior decorating!

Odalys - OBSESSION!

krystle - Absolutely fabulous darling!!! Beautiful color and I love how you tied it all together! :)

Laurie Fucini - Tina... Your office is fantastic and fits your style perfectly. Next time I visit Tampa I am totally swinging by. Love it... Ethan was happy to see a picture of him hanging on the wall. :)

Michelle Guzman - Oh my goodness. I am loving your office. The details are great. And I love cookies. Thanks for reminding me that I do NOT have a chocolate chip cookie in my hands. LOL!

Tina - Thank, thank you, thank you!! It's been a huge work in progress, but I love it so far! Michelle-I don't have a chocolate chip cookie in my hand either :( Maybe we should fix this problem!

Tina - Oh, and Laurie, You are invited anytime you come into town! Ethan's too funny! I have five pictures of you guys in there! Can't wait to hand over your images!

{Love} Lauren & Kenneth

Ooh, I am going into engagement session coma!  First, there was Tracy&Jonathan, then it was Rachel&Jared, and now it’s Lauren&Kenneth! I laughed so much and so hard yesterday! I don’t think there was a dull moment (at least I hope not for Lauren and Kenneth’s sake! ) I headed over to Disney Boardwalk in Orlando for their session. While there, I told them how I have only been to Disney once and that was in 4th grade. I’m pretty sure that’s pretty bad-especially since I’m a natural born Floridian! Maybe I will make the trip to the land of mouse ears soon!

I can’t wait for your wedding! I might have a hard time trying to keep it together though-you two are a riot! You two are absolutely delightful and especially adorable together. Here are some of my favorite moments from yesterday!I can’t really really explain this. But, I’m dying laughing just thinking about them doing this while people are just strolling by.

Lauren - yay! I love them!!! I feel like such a rockstar! You rock Tina!! I Can't wait for our wedding!

Odalys - I love this couple! So good Tina!

Victoria - she is sooooo beautiful! & these pictures are soooo fun!

Stephanie - LOVE LOVE LOVE! The couple, the locations, the fun in these photos and obviously these photos!!! :)

krystle - These are great pics and a beautiful couple!

Michelle Guzman - I love all the fun colors. What a cute couple. I love her shoes!

{sneak-peek} Rachel & Jared

Ahhh!!

Rachel - Unbelieveable!!! You are GOOD!!

{love} Tracy & Jonathan

Yesterday, Tracy & Jonathan met up with me to shoot their engagement session at Honeymoon Island. I’m always excited to head down that way, because I always find something new to incorporate into the images. There were some glitches. I went to a part of the beach I had shot before, but not in a while. Well, there were some changes-the dock I was planning on taking some images on was missing. Gone. So, no worries. I walked along the beach before Tracy and Jonathan got there and scoped out prime locations for shots. While walking, I guess I dislodged the lens hood from my lens. Oops. So,I have a confession, I am always losing something when I shoot, and it’s usually a lens cap.I get so excited about a shot, that I think I put it in my pocket or my shootsac, but I probably just placed it on the ground-a spot you’ll usually find me in when I’m shooting. How do I not notice a huge black lens hood fall off? While walking back to the parking lot, I’m thinking up excuses to tell Jimmy why I don’t have my lens hood : a) lens hoods are overrated. Who needs them? b) A pelican just shot out of the air and gobbled it up. I swear. c) the just deny everything. What lens hood? I never had one! (he’s not the type to get mad, it’s my stuff, but how many times will this poor man have to hear about me losing something?? At some point his poor brain will explode.)

I eventually found the hood. Tracy and Jonathan probably thought I was pretty nuts when I got all excited and exclaimed “Oh, there’s my lens hood!” like I just leave lying around like that, you know, in case I need it at some point.

I had so much fun at this session. There were so many little things that happened and I wish I had video. A lady walking through our shot thinking I’m some perv taking photos of Tracy and Jonathan. Acting like a “limp noodle.” I’m still trying to figure that one out. Possibly stealing another photographer’s lighting equipment and making a run for it (all Jonathan’s idea-that’s my story!) Me being the Mr.Magoo of the photography world.

Here are some images I shot yesterday. Look out for a cameo from the pervy lady.
I could not stop cracking up. I try not laugh at people, unless we’re all just cracking up together. But, the combination of me standing in the cold water-on rocks, no less- and Tracy and Jonathan still keeping their composure in this picture, I couldn’t stop the laughter. I was cold, and almost fell in the water numerous times, so that’s my story. I can’t be faulted in those conditions!Geez, Tracy! learn to tone it down a few notches! So gorgeous!

Jonathan Popple - Tina- Thank You so much for a fun experience. The photos look great. You were right the first time Tracy does have amazing eyes!!!!!

marissa moss - way to make a beach session look like SO much more! my eyes sometimes glaze over when i see another session on the beach but these are amazing!!

Remember my couple from Boston? They got married on saturday! I love, love, loved this wedding! The details were amazing and Laurie & Ethan are the sweetest and nicest couple. This wedding was so relaxed, fun, and had so many personal touches. I loved Ethan’s brother’s speech set to the opening of Star Trek (if you follow my blog, you’ll know my intense love for the series!)
