{Around Here} Business Cards

They are here! I just ordered new business cards and I finally received them! These are so different from my old ones. These go better with my branding and colors. I love the little bird and how quirky they are-which is totally meI have been thinking about my business non-stop lately and I think a lot of people have noticed subtle differences.  When I first thought about doing wedding photography, I had decided to focus on black and white photos and use darker colors. After I really got into my business, I found that I was actually stifling my creativity and not going in the direction I wanted to be. I had to look at what I really loved-what makes me go? I love bright colors-especially lime greens and bright blues- and I love vintage styes. Those two things may not go too well with each other, but I’m making it work! I also realize all those pictures I took and edited when I first got a camera in my hands are stepping stones. Everything I do is just getting me closer to the photographer and person I want to be. I still can’t believe I am making business cards for my OWN business-it’s such a surreal thing to do and I never expected my life to follow this path. I have lots of ideas cooked up for my business and I can’t wait for my clients to see everything!

Pebbles heard me taking pictures and she hijacked the rest of my set-up. This dog LOVES getting her pictures taken. She may be miffed that I didn’t use her in my logo, though.
