I love how Jordanna and Chris are alike but also a bit different. Their relationship reminds me so much of my own with my husband. While Chris and I would totally veg out watching a sci-fi movie, I think Jordanna and my husband would much rather do something a bit more cerebral. Maybe balance the budget? Spreadsheets, anyone? Haha, totally not making fun, Jordanna actually came up with that one! I had so much hanging with J&C this past weekend. I loved hearing about how they met (in South Tampa after Chris kept bumping into Jordanna a few times) and about their darling daughter.

The wedding is fast approaching and I can’t wait to just take in the day and celebrate such an awesome couple. I’m going to be sad after the wedding, actually! I think some drinks and more hanging out are in our future! Haha.

Kim & Hector

Last sunday I shot my very first wedding of the year and I am so happy it was Kim and Hector’s wedding! You know things are going to be amazing when you have such warm hearted couples and families. Also, they are cat people, so, yeah, we were definitely going to get along! haha. I felt welcome right away and had so much fun being a part of their day.

I hope you two have fun in Mexico!!! Totally jealous especially since it is raining right now!

My last wedding of the year is always bittersweet and memorable. I get quite emotional, but I am so happy I got to close the end of the year with such sweet and amazing couple like Erica and Chris! From the first email I received from Erica I knew I would love her and that is exactly what happened! I loved all the little details of the day and the focus on love. I always say this about Miami weddings, but seriously, you guys win on having the most pumped up receptions. I always blast some dance and latin music on the way home. SO infectious!!

I am so excited for you two and how amazing that you get to close out the year as a married couple!

The day couldn’t have gone as amazingly as it did without the videographers. I absolutely loved working with Captivated FIlms. Miami is on a roll with such awesome vendors and venues!

Katie & Kevin

Katie and Kevin-so cute together, so much fun, and totally opposite of each other. Katie is funny,loud, and quirky, while Kevin is definitely the strong silent type. I can totally relate to their relationship, because that is definitely how Jimmy and I are! I met Katie and Kevin at the very first wedding I ever did and we’ve kept in touch ever since. I am so glad that I get to be a part of their story and their big day. I had a blast laughing and snapping their pictures. Sorry for the bug bites, Katie! I hope it was all worth it!

Also, we tried to get their baby, Roscoe, in some group shots, but you know cats. They are independent, stubborn, and won’t stand for a lens in their face. I did get some sweet pictures of him, mostly by himself, though! Such a cutie!

I can’t wait for your wedding in Rhode Island! It’s going to be absolutely amazing! Love you guys!

I absolutely cannot describe this wedding with adequate words. The bride, the groom, the celebration-it was all amazing! I don’t think I saw the smile leave from Ralf’s face all day and looking at what a gorgeous bride Maeghan was, you could understand why! You could totally feel the love and happiness radiating off of both of them. If two people ever belonged together, it’s these two. One of my absolute favorite things from this wedding was the non-stop dancing. I mean, it didn’t END. There were props, there was dancing, there was so much joy. I totally busted a few moves since the energy was so addictive.

I am so happy I got to be a part of your day! I only hope that photos can do just to the beauty of that day.

Marissa & David

Last Tuesday Marissa, David, and I headed to downtown Tampa for their engagement session. I love downtown Tampa since it’s pretty versatile. Also, I’m a big fan of the Museum that is down there-the building is so modern and visually interesting. Marissa works with one of my good friends (who was my first wedding) and the first wedding I ever shot as ‘Tina Bass Photography’ was David’s brother’s wedding! So, small world for sure! I had a blast walking around the park with you two and I know the wedding day is going to be fun and beautiful as well!

I can’t wait for your wedding! February will be here so soon- time is flying by!

Jen & Joshua

I am so happy I got to be a part of this amazing wedding! Jen and Joshua are such warm and fun people. I knew at the engagement session that the wedding was going to be one of my favorites. I totally felt like a part of the wedding and I love how Jen was all for me testing out their special cocktail- the Key Lime martini (which smelled DELICIOUS, by the way.) The wedding took place at the gorgeous Ritz Carlton in Naples which is where Jen had always wanted her wedding. I love how it is also the place they got engaged and I am sure there will be many anniversary visits. Rain followed me on the way to Naples and I was so worried that their outdoor wedding would have to be moved indoors. Nope! Jen and Josh are way too awesome and things went perfectly for them. Have so much fun on your honeymoon! I know you two will not only have a wedding filled with much love but also fun.
