I never blogged the first session, but I was so excited with these images, that I had to blog Arti’s 2nd trimester session! When my cousin Sameer called me to tell me that he and his wife Arti were expecting their first child, I of course, was totally excited and wanted to document the months leading up to the exciting (big!) day. Arti is such a sweet person and I always have a blast hanging out with her and taking pictures. We went to random little places to take some pictures, but the locations turned out perfect. Even though I made fun of you for losing your keys, when they were under your purse, and for possibly traumatizing your future child with doing random things (you know what I’m talking about! I can’t be your human shield forever!), I know you are going to be such an amazing mom, Arti. Also, thank you for giving me an excuse to eat massive amounts of food! Haha. I can’t wait until the little one is here and ready to be in front of my camera!

Yesterday I had the good fortune to photograph the Reed family for their Christmas portraits. I headed down to their fantastic house and we ventured not too far (right in their backyard!) for some photos. Have you ever seen more gorgeous kids?? They remind me of those precious moments dolls!

Last week I got to take some pictures of Jimmy’s cousin’s children. They are completely adorable! I don’t know how you can look at these girls and not get a little baby crazy. I’ll admit it, I am the first one to say “kids?? Not for a loooong time!”, but playing around with these cuties makes me kind of re-think the “not in a loooong time” part. Kind of.

Not only am I starting a brand spanking new blog, but my first post gets to be about a little girl name Emma. She’s special because not only is she cute, she is also the daughter of my best friend. I blogged about Alison’s baby shower in my older blog and now I get to post some pictures we got to snap while I went up for a visit. I am not really a baby person, but I really could not resist holding this amazing little pumpkin in my arms and giving her little pecks on her forehead. Seeing Emma made me realize how much friendship is important. I have known her mother since high school and we have been friends ever since (almost 9 years-I think!) Alison and her loving husband, Jason, are amazing parents so far. She is one lucky little girl! I am also waiting in the wings to teach her how to wear sparkly pink shoes and that rain boots with polk-a-dots are acceptable footwear, no matter what my hubby thinks!
