Yesterday Melissa, Bennie, and I trekked over to Lettuce Lake Park for their engagement session. Melissa and Bennie are actually more than just a wedding client, they are also friends of Jimmy and I. When you photograph friends, you know more about the couple and also know what will work in a photograph and what will come off as kind of phony. Melissa and Bennie, to me, are cute together, genuine, and like a good laugh. That is what I went after with this session. I cannot wait for the wedding in August! I know that it will probably take me some restraint to not join in the festivities ( I know for a fact that it is going to be one kicking party!), but I will try to be as professional as I can. The operative word being “try”
