So, thank you Jimmy for you letting  me cry, sharing in my joy, and being patient with me because I can’t order my thoughts the way you do. Thanks for coming to weddings with me and being such a an amazing man, friend, and partner.

There are so many things I have in store for next year, some personal and some you will see on this blog and my website. I know people do resolutions and never keep them, but I have some clear goals and I intend to hustle and push to make it happen. But, the heart of my work will always be the same. I hope everyone had a great 2010, but if not, here’s to a new year that can only bring new hope and possibilities. I am so excited to see what the new year brings for some of my amazing clients from last year. I’m horrible at picking images, so here are some random shots that I love and some I even forgot I took!

You two were so much fun. It’s such a blessing to get couples who are getting married for the right reasons and are in synch with each other. You can’t fake Sara’s smile when she looks at Daniel. Also, thanks for picking me as your photographer! And , I didn’t get that one dude’s name, but tell him thanks for being on underwear watch to make sure I didn’t flash anyone while I was hanging out on the floor taking pictures. Yeah, I’m that kind of photographer.

Oh, and I almost forgot to add-I got married at the same place! Jimmy and I had our ceremony outside at Eastlake Woodlands country club. We also had the same colors! See, you’re in synch with your photographer as well! You were drawn to me for a reason

Ralph and Michelle  are awesome. I love that they met a country bar when both are not fans of the genre. During the shoot I could see the love they had for each other -it’s always the subtle things. I knew when I first met them that they are fun and relaxed. I thank them for doing all the crazy stuff I told them to do (sorry about the sandal in the unknown “sludge”!) I am absolutely excited for the wedding, because I know how amazing it will be and I pretty much have the best clients in the world. 

So, I see this shot on the back of my camera and thought “Uh, yeah, I LOVE Michelle!”   After seeing this shot blown up on my monitor, I have to say that Michelle is going to be absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day. Oh, we are going to have some fun with pictures that day!

But, getting back to the couple,they are the most romantic and photogenic people. I think I have a knack for getting all the awesome looking couples! Brown is so attentive to Priscilla, and Priscilla affectionately addresses Brown. They also had the sweetest engagement story. Mr. Brown should be known as Mr. Romantico (and he knows it!)  I felt like I had been friends with them far longer than just meeting Priscilla a few weeks prior. We also grabbed some amazing food afterwards-and we all agreed that the best places are the hidden ones
